Lucas Dols

Lucas started playing electric bass at the age of 16. Two years later he began playing double bass and subscribed for a study at the conservatory of Amsterdam, graduated in 2006. He had lessons with Frans van der Hoeven, Ernst Glerum, Ruud Ouwehand, Hans Mantel, Arnold Dooyeweerd, Edward Mebius and more. Now he's studying again at the conservatory to get a Masters degree.
He plays in several bands like the Quinceyjazz quintet quinceyjazz.com, Room Eleven roomeleven.nl, Marzio Scholten band marzioscholten.com and more. He was part of a big theatre show by Orkater and did a few other theatre shows.
Quincey is a band with 5 musicians and they started to play together in 2001. The band did 5 tours through Europe during the summers and did a lot of gigs everywhere in Holland. They also released 2 cd's.
Room Eleven is a pop/jazz band, started playing together 2 years ago. They just released their first album "six white russians and a pink pussycat" on the Universal label. The band plays a lot through Holland a.o. on the North Sea Jazz festival, Uitmarkt, Pure Jazz festival.
