Gilian Baracs

The combination of modern technology and good music has always held a fascination for Gilian Baracs. Being passionate about both, he has been active in both fields since a young age.

Coming from a musical background, he started with classical pianolessons at age 7. Discovering jazz in his teens, he began studying harmony and composition, as well as playing frequently in clubs.

At present day, Giel is active as a freelance musician, in a large variety of musical formations, ranging from commercial/dance acts to soul/funk to jazz/fusion. Names include Click (poetry meets jazz), Main Interest (jazzfunk), Mysterious Travellers (fusion), and, of course, Wicked Jazz Sounds!
